Jewish Community Relations Council

The JCRC is the public affairs and social action arm of the Federation.
The Jewish Community Relations Council or “JCRC” is an operational subcommittee of Federation.  JCRC membership represents the broad spectrum of Judaism and Jewish culture in Utah. JCRC serves as an additional resource for media outlets, governments and non-Jewish organizations who want more information about Jewish culture, Judaism and issues related to Israel.  JCRC functions with three primary goals in mind:

  • Educational Outreach – on the Holocaust, anti-Semitism, Judaism, the local Jewish community and Israel.
  • Interfaith and Humanitarian Issues – building bridges between the Jewish community and other local faith communities as well as supporting humanitarian issues of global importance.
  • Israel and the Middle East – educating the public on issues that are important to the Jewish people and Israel in the Middle East
