Dear Friends,

We all know the power of reading stories with young

children. These nurturing, joyous, and beneficial early learning experiences build the emotional and cognitive foundation for each child. That is why we’re thrilled to launch The PJ Library.

The PJ Library (PJ as in pajamas) provides your family with a FREE treasury of Jewish books and music.

Each child you enroll in The PJ Library will receive a monthly gift of a high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish book or CD as well as a reading guide to enhance your family’s experience.  All materials are carefully selected by a team of experts.

Please enjoy our gift to you by enrolling your child/ren who are 6 months to 6 years old!

The PJ Library is available for free to the first 150 children to register in Utah.  If demand exceeds the number of available spots, we will begin a waiting list as we search for additional funding.

Along with Harold Grinspoon, the visionary founder of The PJ Library, Congregation Kol Ami, Temple Har Shalom and United Jewish Federation are committed to bringing The PJ Library to every family who wants to participate.  We also have a grant from The Harold Grinspoon Foundation that generously matches every subscription on a 1:2 basis.

It is easy to enroll!  Please click here to register.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or friend of someone with young children, please help us share news of this special program with Jewish families throughout the area who have children from 6 months through age 6.  Please see the enclosed brochure to sign them up.

Happy Reading! If you have any questions or comments, please contact Drora Oren at United Jewish Federation of Utah at 801-581-0102.

Shalom,

Alex Shapiro

PS: If you are in a position to become a PJ Library funding partner, let us know.  We welcome all those who would like to participate in passing on the joys of our Jewish heritage.
