Holocaust Remembrance: Who is Stanley Bernath?

Who is Stanley Bernath, of blessed memory?  Father of one of our newest board members, Lisa Bernath, Stanley was born and raised in Romania until he was deported to Auschwitz in 1944 at 18. He survived three other concentration camps in Austria before being liberated by the American Army on May 6, 1945, a day he referred to as his real birthday because he felt he died the day before and was reborn on liberation. In 2017, he was chosen to participate in the USC Shoah Foundation's 'Dimension in Testimony' hologram technology.  This technology enables Holocaust survivors to tell their stories and share their messages forever.
