Step away from the busy workweek, greet Shabbat, and enjoy a meal with friends and family. Our dinner, cooked by Dov De Lay, will include vegetable lasagna with a side of roasted butternut squash with pomegranate seeds, salad, and dessert. While we charge a nominal fee for Shabbat dinner, additional donations from our community help us continue this Kol Ami tradition. You may also sponsor a dinner for $360!
It has been six years since the worst case of antisemitic violence in the United States occurred at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh on October 27, 2018. What does resilience look and feel like in the face of such hatred? During services on Friday, November 15th, we will welcome Patrice O'Neill, filmmaker and founder of Not in Our Town, and Amy and Alan Messinger, descendants of Rose Mallinger, who was killed at the Tree of Life Synagogue. They will share their stories of learning how to rebuild a community that speaks up and stands up to hate in the shadow of horrific violence.
