Step away from the busy workweek, greet Shabbat, and enjoy a meal with friends and family before our Erev Shabbat service at 6:30pm. After the service, please stay for a special program with guest speaker Carl Smoot, Ph.D., on “What is a Healthy Relationship?” in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.
This presentation will discuss the sorts of connections that all human beings need to thrive. It will also review research supporting these ideas and discuss common misunderstandings about human nature.
Our Shabbat dinner, cooked by Dov De Lay, will include a gluten-friendly vegetarian pasta bake, puff pastry tomato tartlets, salad, and brownies for dessert.
