Join us as we gather around the bonfire to commemorate Lag B’Omer and mark a significant milestone in our community’s journey as we bid farewell to our mortgage! Lag B’Omer takes place on the 33rd day of the Omer, the 49-day period between Passover and Shavuot. There are so many reasons to celebrate Lag B’Omer, such as the story of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the end of the plague that killed thousands of Rabbi Akiva’s students, and the victory of Shimon Bar Kokhba. This year, we also celebrate by burning our mortgage! Learn more about the holiday here.
