Join us as we gather around the bonfire to commemorate Lag B’Omer and celebrate Shabbat!
Lag B’Omer falls on the 33rd day of the Omer, the 49-day period between Passover and Shavuot. There are many reasons to celebrate, including the story of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the end of the plague among Rabbi Akiva’s students, and the victory of Shimon Bar Kokhba.
This year, we'll celebrate with fire pits, a potluck dinner, s'mores, and our Erev Shabbat service on the patio. Please bring a Kosher-style dairy or vegetarian dish to share (no meat or chicken, please).
