Bio: William (Bill) Redkey, Jr.  is a former U.S. Attorney for the State of Washington where he served for 27 years. Prior to graduating from the Seattle University School of Law in 1977, he served as a U.S. Naval Officer, Staff Commander Seventh Fleet. Following law school, he worked in the King County (Seattle) prosecuting Attorney’s Office as a trial attorney.  He prosecuted crimes ranging from traffic offenses to murder. Additionally, he served on the Fraud Unit and supervised felony trial teams.
As a U.S. Attorney for Washington State from 1983 to 2010, Bill was a trial attorney for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, a Supervisor overseeing attorneys on the Major Crimes Unit and a Trial Attorney for the Terrorism and Violent Crimes Unit. .During his law enforcement career he taught at the University of Washington, Seattle University School of Law and The U.S. Department of Justice National Advocacy Center.
