Topic: “Adventures of a Lawyer Who Actually Enjoyed His Job”
Bio: Roger Goldman grew up in Virginia and spent seven years at UVA for college and law school. After clerking one year for a federal judge, he spent some 35 years at Latham and Watkins, a large law firm where he expected to work only a couple of years. Most of his work involved defense of civil and criminal fraud cases in matters ranging from government contracts to healthcare with occasional international bribery. Since retiring in 2016, he has held what he considers to be the best retirement job ever, doing news and public affairs at KPCW here in Park City.
