Join us for Men's Night Out to learn from Maya! Maya Skurnik is our second full time Shlicha (Israeli emissary) for our Utah Jewish Community. In her capacity, this energetic Sabra, will have long-lasting benefits for our community where she serves as an educational, cultural and social resource, in addition to acting as a bridge between Israel and Utah. Everything she shares, comes simply from her perspective as a young Israeli citizen.

Maya grew up in a kibbutz in central Israel where she spent most of her life. She served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for 6 years as an infantry platoon commander and later as an IDF Intelligence officer.
