Together we will make our own beeswax Havdalah candles, DIY pomanders, and learn the Havdalah blessings! A traditional pomander is a ball that holds aromatic spices. We will be making them out of apples.
Havdalah, "separation" in Hebrew, happens at the end of Shabbat to separate the previous week from the next. In a simple multi-sensory ceremony, with blessings over lights, wine or grape juice, and spices, Havdalah is an inspiring way to end Shabbat and start the new week as a family.
