Join Congregation Brith Sholem for a discussion lead by Denise Israel, a duel citizen of Israel and the US. She is a member of "Women Wage Peace" which includes Israeli and Palestinian women who are working for a non-partisan political solution to the violence in Israel and Gaza. Denise said "I wish to make it clear that in no way do I question the right of the State of Israel to defend itself. The State of Israel has been under attack ever since its Declaration Of Independence in 1948 and now continuously from several fronts since that black Sabbath almost a year ago. But it is precisely because of that, that the voices for a nonviolent solution, for dialogue and coexistence are growing louder by the minute."
