This event is off the record and closed to the press. About Our Speaker:

As Director of AIPAC's Policy and Government Affairs Department, Brad Gordon is at the heart of politics and foreign policy in Washington. He will brief us on the new Administration, the new Congress, and how issues concerning the U.S.-Israel relationship may play out in the coming year. Prior to working at AIPAC, Mr. Gordon was Assistant Director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency for Nonproliferation Policy. He was responsible for issues related to the proliferation of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them. Mr. Gordon was also U.S. Ambassador to the Fourth Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) held in Geneva in August and September 1990. From 1979 to 1985, Mr. Gordon worked as a political analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency in the office of Near Eastern and South Asian Analysis.

About AIPAC:

AIPAC's mission is to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel. Our grassroots organization stays focused on its mission and works day-in and day-out using strategic programming, outreach to traditional and non-traditional alliances, and educational life-changing Congressional trips to Israel. Working together, a highly motivated and trained professional staff together with citizen advocates from every state in the country strive tirelessly to fulfill this mission.
